Hey just spent to weekend up the beach and now my blower is gone. It is making bad rattling noise as I believe a bearing has gone. Does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for one?

they dont sell rebuild kits.

your best bet would be to contact TRD USA, and chase up parts from them direct. it'll be cheaper and it'll arrive much quicker than going through your dealer.

Cheers i found a kit rebuild kit for sale but after pulling it apart today i found the waste gate is split and blower roots and bearings are in very good conditon.
So order a new gate from capa and should be all good.
It was making boost at ilde casuing noise.

How many KM's you got on it mate?

Were you working it hard in the sand to have it fail like that?

90,000 klms yes car was working hard but the rubber diaphram was just worn out.

i know this is an old post but if you still need help rebuilding your TRD supercharger on the 4.0L V6 hilux (1gr-fe), i found these you tube videos EXTREMELY helpful.
