dyno tuning

Postby 07luxyTD on Sun, 17 Jun 2012 5:51 +0000

Just trying to get a rough idea of wheather getting my d4d tuned is worth it. Had a search on here and come up with nothing but was wondering what the average price to get a D4D dyno tuned with only 3 inch exhuarst and hi flow filter. And approximatly what figures would i gain out of it.

Cheers Ross

You can't tune anything on the D4D. You can get a Chip-It chicp which comes with about 12 different preset tunes to work with and with the mods you have done so far and a high tune on the chip you will see very impressive results. It can also then be custom tuned also and with another couple of mods you can get even better results.

The only reason you would put the Hilux on the dyno otherwise would be to see what power it's making

Cheers mate, yer was just curious about it. what would it be worth just to have results measured before and after a chip.

The Chip it can be turned off and on so u can compare after runs.
Mine makes about 30rwkw difference with just chip and exhaust
