Don't hold me to it, but I think this has been raised in the past and the the answer was no you can't. (again I think  ) not really much help am I? Possibly because the boost is controlled by the ECU and if it doesn't match the fuel rail pressures it throws a fault code? Hmmmmm....or I'm completely wrong.

Dont bother, the ecu is in control over pretty much everything on these cars. Theyre already boostn over 15 - 17 psi, with an aftermarket exhaust the turbo free's up a bit and can hit around 20psi. Then theres the boost cut around 20psi which shuts down and puts car into limp mode anyway. Not worth the hassles IMHO

I think they do 15 psi in stock form......running 3"exhaust, chip and sprint booster mine often gets up to 20+ psi

Sprint booster has no effect what so ever on turbo pressure

Does anyone else find with their trucks that under light throttle your boost can reach over 20psi under certain circumstances but if you hammer it it nevers goes over 16 or 17 psi??

Manual boost control?

With my chip and sprint booster. I only get about 9psi according to my scan gauge.

Do I have the scan gauge setup wrong? Or would an exhaust really make 10psi of difference.

Scanguage is pretty inaccurate with its psi reading, only a manual boost gauge would be a true reading which is more like 16psi and upwards

Was making the point that scangauge is inaccurate for reading boost pressure...

No worries when i first fitted up the scangauge it was way out more than 10psi. So then on ive just been useing a prope gauge for boost and scangauge for all othe needs. They are handy little units.

Sorry inadvance if i pissed you off.
