"Sprint Booster" is the actual brand. The Ultimate Suspension is the Australian 4WD distributor of the Sprint Booster. This is what most of the guys are running on here.

Vehicle Modifications network also do a throttle booster it is called a 3 phase (I think). Both do the same thing.

Like Jake I have the sprint booster as the other was not available when I bought mine. GHG has the VMN one and loves it.

So the choice is really your mate.

I've got the Sprint Booster from Ultimate. Oustanding piece of kit. Very good reports from other brands also. Which ever one you get is up to you, just make sure you get one, you will not regret it. When you switch it off you seriously feel like the lux is suddenly towing a 500T trailer :o

The Sprint Booster was the first throttle chip on the market. It is a patented product and has won a lot of awards overseas. The main difference is the Sprint Booster is a complete plug and play device which converts the signal. A few other brands need to be spliced into the throttle system and some require an additional power source.

Unfortunately it is now being copied by a lot of companies. Some of the units out there are very poor quality and not fit for use. Be careful what you buy and ensure they have the right back up support. We could buy these for a 10th of the price out of china but instead pay the premium for the original sprint booster.

As the product is covered by an international patent, a lot of the other suppliers are going to be facing legal action and will not be able to supply the parts for much longer.

Here at our side, there's so many choices from diff manufactures (works, pivot, e-throttle, shadow, etc) ..some premium priced some are very cheap. Indeed quality is the biggest fear I have, dont want any cheap copies messing with the electronic stuff on the hilux.

If its a quality one your after then get the real Sprint Booster and dont look back,

Version 2 is the one thats adjustable i think, as in theres green orange and red settings -this is the latest model i think

Older version like i have has no adjustment, its default setting is the Red all the time so its go go go
60% of the time, it works every time
