Dobinson snorkels

Postby 83DRH on Mon, 30 Apr 2012 5:16 +0000

Hey ive done a search regarding this and come up empty, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with Dobinson gear, as i am looking at having a Dobinson snorkel fitted to my 2007 D4D Hilux, as they are a much better price ($420 fitted, compared with $600-$700 for safari).
Now I know that you get what you pay for, but they look like a pretty good product to me....................

Mate, I got an airflow for the same price and does the job. It looks heaps better than the safari in my opinion as it doesn't come down the wheel guard so far. Google em and have a look.

The dobinson snorkle looks great, I was wondering where-abouts was the thin bits you desribed, was it in the body of the snorkle or the internals, round the airbox connection etc ?
Cheers for the pics
