The bung is there so you can install a Pyro / Exhaust Gas Temp gauge.

Not sure if Xforce have one but its a $20 job.

Where did everyone purchase the exhaust from? Im trying to get it with the highflow cat and muffler. So far all i can find are the systems without the cat. Or the ones i have found are over $800.

I'm looking at getting an xforce 3inch setup for my 2010 sr5 just wondering if the people that purchased them got the resonator/muffler? Haven't seen a straight through option.
Cheers.

Yep I got the cat, muffler but no resonator (I think) and it's a good system, you will lose some low down torque but it makes up for it over 2000rpm.
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.

Cheers mate been looking at a few options but I've been leaning towards this setup. Just been trying to read some reviews an see what people think of them before I chuck one on. I've heard they are a quieter setup do you still get a nice note from the exhaust just quieter? Cheers

Yep no resonator. Nice note just above standard but just enough to know you have a system on. Improved fuel consumption too as a bonus. Most important is to get the heat out of the system which it does well. I use the Lux for towing so it helps with that too. Ask for a bung in the dump pipe so you can fit a pyrometer later, great investment and you will be surprised how hot the dump gets.

Yeah nice one. My lux is basically standard at the moment so the first thing I'm doing is the exhaust and snorkel system to open her up an breath properly and like you said looking to see the improvement in fuel economy. I'll look into the bung aswell cheers for that.
