Took it toyota this afternoon told the 2008 code is the butterfly in the intake manifold is worn a lot of movement but more concerning the 0607 the ecu might be done! They recommend that they need the car plug the computer in and get it to fault on a road test! From brookvale not many his to do 110+ this could be big dollars

New addition to be able to get my engine into limp mode once the motor is up to running temp I can in any gear or neutral hold it at 3000rpm for a period and it will go into limp mode. Any ideas?

P0607 is a ECM internal error.
I have only seen this code once, and had to replace the ECM.
The Roo.
Passing through country and seeing country are two different things.

Roo was it a fault that keep coming up? I tried my wife's maf sensor out of rav 4 which I think may have caused it so I am hoping I am only fighting the 2008. I am getting my mechanic this week to clean inlet and egr block egr and replace the swirl control hope that gets the lot

I think you might of introduced problems swapping maf sensors from a different car unless they're the same part number. Just cause it clips on doesn't meen it's the same inside.

If it was the egr it would do it all the time yeah??
It is an 05 model as far as I know from this forum it won't cause a fault blocking in my model. Happy to listen to anything

Geez that’s a bit piss poor isn't it, a filter that only lasts 2.5 times longer than recommended for.
Maybe they should design a big foot under the dash that that kicks you in the nuts if you forget to change it at 20k like you’re supposed to.

No 1000 km and a bad decision caused this. Image
Words can not describe how dirty this filter was

Let me know where I can buy one and will purchase for my mechanic!!
As long as no long term damage I am glad the fault codes happen and I am not up for an injector pump!
