yeah I tried 2 different usb ports and a heap of different drivers off the net, seems alot of people have problems with that brand of cable, might have to try and find another one

You gotta make sure if u are using USB to serial adapter that the correct driver is installed and it's working properly. Then it can vary what com port it's on. Just keep selecting different ports on the macro tuner and hopefully it will work with one of them.

Decided to up the tune this arvo. Couldn't get the computer to connect to the chip. After some piss farting around I realized I needed the key turned all the way on, not just to accessories. The tuning program has a new set up these days, no separate folders. 1 folder with 2 custom tunes (empty waiting to be tuned), factory tune (takes it all back to stock) and 15 progressive tunes. ATM I'm only on 7 as I haven't got the egt controller cutout set yet and don't wanna have to drive and keep looking at it in case thongs get to hot. I'm loving the extra power so far!!!

Hey I had another try tonight to find a driver that works and I finally found one, I am using windows 7 64 bit but had to install a vista driver to get it to work . This is the driver that worked so maybe it will help someone in the future http://www.cooldrives.com/lib/cooldrive ... apters.zip
