Anyone have a clue as to what the "Injector FB Vol for Idle" is? Most people I've seen have a figure less than 1.0mm^3 but mine is around 5.43

This is with all the individual injector feedback values spot on (worst is -0.4) and total injection volume around 9.45

The "Injector Feedback Volume for Idle" is a learning value for the injection volume at idle, meaning it is used by the ECU to have some sort of comparison between the readings, just as the EGR close learning value is used by the ECU to determine what its closed state is over time, as it can change due to soot. Normal range for the injection fb volume is -4.0 to 4.0 mm3 for the 1KD engine.

This is all I've been able to gather, all theory, not much in terms of troubleshooting though.

Yeah I found similar information in my digital workshop repair manual (although they use entirely different terms) but it doesn't elaborate much about it either. If I understand it correctly, does that mean it's adding about 5.43mm of fuel over ALL the cylinders to achieve a stable idle even before the individual injector changes are made?

It means that even tho your feed back for idle figures and spot on the injectors are having to inject extra fuel to obtain the Correct idle.
This will be due to a fuel blockage in the injector.

Feed back values for injectors tells you about the health of that cylinders performance. If high the injector may be blocked or you could have a slightly bent rod and low compression in that cylinder. If low you could have a leaking injector or a injector seat leak causing too Much combustible liquid in thy cylinder.

Inj vol for idle is the total fuel over the 4 injectors required to obtain the Correct idle speed.

Just to be sure the figure I'm talking about is the red one:

All injectors are new Baileys Injectors, with new lines, filters (plus new prefilter) and oil change. Economy seems to be getting slightly worse too despite normally being spot on within 0.2L/100km

The concern in that figure is because my mates 2013 Lux (ideally in excellent condition) is showing a figure less than 1mm

Arrrr ok seams you has your a/c on when testing.
Test again with a c and radio off. Makes a big difference.
Over 75 deg on gauge as well. See how you go then.

Yea a little high but look at your data.
you had been idling for around 8 to 9 min.

see you intake air temp at 27 deg c
and you air going into the motor is almost 40 deg c
this will also make a difference to you inj fb vol for idle

looks ok tho

as you stated your last post you engine at 66 deg the engine was still in warm up so that is why the inj fb for idle was high
you can see the main injection period was at 630 micro seconds and in the fully warm ute it is at 558 micro seconds

Shitty certain fuel
Low tyre pressure

So if AC and radio puts figures out what does a dual battery set up do to it.
eg pulling 20 amps [cold start in the morning] will this affect injector feed back valves and other readings.
