Ordered mine today on fleabay. Purchased the hoses through a local dealer along with the fittings & clamps.

Was going to order a spare filter then I came across this:

The key indicator of a blocked element is oil around the lid of the ProVent 200. (See below for more information)

When to replace the ProVent200 element

After a pressure differential of 28-30 mbar. Generally this is achieved after 1000 hrs worth of use. In kilometers that would be +- 80,000 km at 80km/hr. But all engines are different, so the key “blocking” culprit is the amount of soot being presented to the filter, hence filters may block up earlier. Therefore the key indicator of a blocked element is oil around the lid of the ProVent 200. The lid is where the by-pass valve is situated and any “venting” will present as oily deposits on the outside of the lid.

Anyone had success installing the Provent without removing the intercooler? I'm thinking of putting one on my 2005 lux, but I'm not sure about pulling apart more than necessary.
I'm 100% sure....I think

Is the bracket on these in a fixed position or does it slide round the unit?
In the pictures it appears to be removable / moveable, just want to confirm.

Ye GB, they can move around, for adjustment. And, thank heavens, for that.

Yeah not too worried about making up the bracket, just needed to know if i was locked into a particular position. I'm really pushed for space, have an arb compressor and flojet pump where the abs module would be. Moved the pump last night to in between the airbox and headlight so hopefully have enough room in that top corner now.

Thanks for the replies blokes.

You can just use M8 nutserts. You can just fit it up in that top corner, driver's side inner guard. You have to move the harness, and then use that hole. Drill out the other hole.
You need to think about it, as on the SR5 models, there is only a few mil to play with.
Just make sure you leave enough room at the top of the Provent 200, so you can close the bonnet.
Be warned about that one, as you could get easily caught with that mistake.

Check out the photo's of my install on February 10th (1 page back) for another option.

I made up a bracket utilizing 3 existing holes in the inner guard and mounted mine between the air-box and the brake master cylinder. Shorter hose runs and quite inconspicuous.

It's working a treat and the truck is loving it.

Nice and neat mate, inlet looks tight? Got enough slack for engine vibration?

Looks good.
I see it's a 2005 lux.
I have a 2007 and am looking to do the same install. How long did it take you to fit it up and were there any tricks or hints that might help. :) :)

Yeah it has a bend in it out of shot, I left fair bit of play in both hoses. Ended up wrapping silicon tape round the hose where it enters the provent. Gonna get some inch hose on monday and push the 5/8" up into it with some rtv and then onto the provent then I definitely know without a doubt that it's sealed.

Yeah don't use nutserts!!! That was my only problem. They would have been ideal but somehow I managed to @$&! It up.
Apart from that pretty straight forward to fit mate. Looking forward to see if the truck runs a bit better with it.

Has anyone got any ideas about where to fit the Provent in an ABS/VSC equipped lux ??

Geebung's insto looks very neat with nice short hose runs, but my ABS/TC/VSC unit is in the same place
