I've made my own 3inch system, including the dump. A mate of mine has a 2015 sr (mines 07 with 200+ on it) both manuals and mine seems way quicker down low. I think these days there r just too many variables and as it has been mentioned, without tuning as well you will only see minimal improvements. But again that's my experience.

Domin8r exhausts any good?

Postby Brondonnnn on Sun, 07 Aug 2016 10:11 +0000

Hey everyone,
I've got a late 2011 (new shape) sr5 and I'm at the stage now where I would like to upgrade the performance.
First off I'm fishing for an exhaust and stumbled on these Domin8r Exhausts from 4wd Supa Centre:

The price doesn't look too bad, has anyone had any experience with them?
Reading around I've noticed a 3 inch isn't ideal rather a 2 1/5, could you guys confirm that?

Thanks again!

Threads merged.

Here's an existing thread on this exact exhaust Brondonnn.

As for the 2.5" v's 3" debate, there's masses of info in here around this, just do a search, but the vast majority run 3"
Cheers Rod

Im happy with my purchase of the Domin8r 3inch mild steel exhaust system.. was half the cost to the others brand on the market. Was sraight forward fit to the vehicle. has better 4 bolt flange , compared to the other brands.. plus notice economy has dropped down 1lt per 100km & more responsive from take off. :D :D .. now all i need is to work out what after market chip to go for...
