Guys any chip that plugs directly into the fuel rail sensor is going to give you grief at some point in time as its electonically raising the already incredibly high stock rail pressure and giving you the limp codes thrown and other nasty things going wrong.
I know the Chip-It does plug into the individual injectors aswell as a plug to the rail sensor which is why the problems arent as common as the DP chip or other ebay style ones which only has the one plug that goes to the rail.
Not bashing them im sure there are people with the unit that havent shown any problems yet but and have got alot more power out of our d4d, but im pretty sure something will go wrong at some point in time with it, putting a metal spacer into the fuel rail itself to stop the problem? What hell is with that it doesnt sound like a very good thing to do at all altho im no mechanice and happy to be shot down n flames if its a proper way of fixing it but sounds like a bloody bodge up to me! Just my two cents fellas not bashing anyone

Look at blokes running the steinbauer - vmn or i think diesel smart modules - no problems cause there not touching the fuel rail pressure at all, i know they dont make 70% more power than stock but what good is that when your overtaking a road train on the hwy and the thing throws a code!
