Fella's,

Looking into getting a bullbar for the front and as much as some of the cheaper ones arent too bad, nothing comes close to the ARB one and I know I wont get another one, so I might as well do it right first time huh?

So can ya help me out?

How much did you pay for either a plain black one and/or how much extra for colour coding?

Theres gotta be someone with a contact to save a coupla hundred bucks maybe?
Huh?
:(

ARB normally won`t do deals. They are in such demand that they don`t really have to.
From memory a deluxe bar is around $1800 + $100 for winch mount+ $220 colour code+ $250 if you want fog lights to fit.
I would look closer at OL and TJM if I was to do it again.

Mate If you are ever going to consider getting a winch go the Delux winch bar... and just put a plate or your rego plate over the hole in the interim... as for price... color coding is about 250+ and the bar will be about 1600 - 1800 pending on who you speak to at ARB... being in Darwin, I can't really help much as any saving I might get, would be spent on freight... also , fitting it yourself is not terribly difficult, but you may be able to get a better price by getting it fitted at the shop... from listening what the guys on here have been saying.. I would go directly to and ARB store not an agent...best bet is to go and speak to them, tell them your big overall plans to spend heaps...(even if your not) and make out that you will come back if you get a good deal... talk it up and I'm sure you will come out happy... I have had no issues with my ARB bar... Cheers TOMUCH

I just priced mine on the weekend.

The deluxe non winch bar from ARB Moorebank in Sydney was $1488 for black - plus fitting of 240.

The Black winch bar was $1586.

I managed to wrangle a furthur trade discount but they have a large list of backorders so they really don't need to deal at all.

TOMUCH had a good idea about the spending.

i got plenty of time with nothing to do.

geez, they cost a packet!

Thanks for the replies guys, but its bit more than I want to spend, and yeah, I agree, coz everybody wants them they dont have to budge on prices.

The funny thing is, I cant beleive how stooopid toyota is - they get ARB to make their current bullbars - how dumb as a major company do you have to be to realise that ARB are stooging toyota with an inferior and vastly uglier bullbar so toyota customers go to them.

Actually, one of the blokes from TSO told me that toyota has changed contracts to somebody else for the accessories for the 200series. Guess its a gamble but you never know.

but, mate, why so bloody expensive :(

Hey mmaaxx,
Have a look at what stu-k posts up after getting his ARB bullbar today. What a joke. This was the third attemt at what they call a bull bar.

I will no longer shop at GC ARB if this is the quaility of the goods and the service. I have not seen service like this since dealing with GC Nissan and after 17 years of buying cars of them I have not been back for the last two cars. ARB will get the same treatment.

Take buissness elsewhere.

The winner is TJM.

Regards,
Camwill69

Got to love that to, ARB at coopers plains wont discount one cent off their list price yet in Orange they discount heaps.
Went I left arb for the last time I thought they were going to throw in a $9 tube of grease for the springs but no way would they even do that.....fig em

I have to say that my experience was pretty good with ARB Cooper Plains. I got great pricing on everything I ordered and good service too. I consider the prices I paid to have been at a considerable discount.
