The Mp3 player works without you having to plug anything into it.... You just burn some Mp3's to a cd, and then insert it into your head deck, and it should play your tracks...

Saab, I have the older 06 Lux... I assume yours has an audio input jack on the front... I would assume that you would ned to cycle through the source channels to pick up the signal from the MP3 Player... should be directions in the manual....What type is it? an IPOD??... Failing that Express is correct..burn MP3 songs to a CD and just insert it... Cheers TOMUCH

With the new cd players i believe the button that selects CD also selects AUX (auxillary) AUX is what you would be using if you are plugging the MP3 player directly into the head unit via the 1 3/4mm jack. Just make sure you dont have any cd's in it i guess and push the button, you should be all sweet :)

Hmm done all of that, but still doesnt work. Could it be that the MP3 player I am using is incomaptible in some way?

I could of course just do as suggested and just play cd's, but I was just keen to plug in a player.

Hmmm, if you are plugging your MP3 player in via a cord from the headphone output of the MP3 player to the Auxilliary jack of the head unit there is not really any way it can be incompatible... It is just an audio signal. Try banging some headphones onto the MP3 player and just make sure its working, that is all i could really suggest now...8-)
