i downloaded a program on my iphone called EOBD Code and i waked 2799 in and it came up with :
description: Auxiliary transmission fluid pump contol - circuit high...
specs: wiring, auxilary transmission fluid pump contol, TCM, ECM..

you could have a faulty switch on the tranny pump?
hope that helps

Are you sure it wasn't a b2799??? That is an imobiliser code . Some times pops up on occassions . Maybe key turned real fast and the reader never saw the imobiliser chip in the key .

Just my 2 cents

Hey where are you guys ordering from now? And will this gauge do EGT?

Edit: from reading OP
no it will not monitor EGT

The website for the smartgauge does seems dodgy. At checkout it states email seller before buying a product because it has been inactive and not updated for a while.... where else am i able to get this

tys91,

I would suggest you do a ebay search and see if there are any other sellers.

The prices have also gone up since my first post on this thread.

As always, be careful buying online.
Many members bought from this guy and he's from Thailand. He's been good so far.
You can email him first before giving him your credit card details and ask him for details etc.

Good luck
Cheers

His email address is infoligence@gmail.com

His name is Nat K and he's a Thai but his English is passable.

Tell him that the admininstrator from newhilux sent you over and we have many members who have bought his product.
Ask him for some discount if you feel he is genuine.

Good luck.
Cheers
