My previous truck, 99 2wd SR5 double cab 2.7 petrol 3rz-fe/w56 box had 398km on the clock when I traded her in on my current 06 hilux. I did 100km
I had it for 5 year's.
New nilon shifter bushers at 380
New clutch at 370
Reconed brake servo at 340
New shocks at 300
Did the last 30 tho with a split head gasket.
Serviced every so often.
Never used any oil.

Previous: 06 sr 1KD manual 280000km...loved it. Still do.

Traded for

N80 2.8l SR5 manual just clocked 18,000km. Absolutely faultless. Seems to be getting better and better with age.

2006 SR dual cab
Was my old man's farm ute before I bought it off him at 220'000 and he certainly didn't regularly service it, more so got it taken in for a service when something was wrong/needed a roadworthy (NSW rego), still used on farm by me a fair bit but just not as hard on it as he was

I've had 3 big (costly) ones since taking ownership:
250'000km: Intercooler
280'000km: Injectors
290'000km: front wheel bearings and steering rack ends

Currently at 298'000km so fingers crossed it'll be a clean Bill of health at 300'000km because the last 50'000km hasn't been as cheap as I'd like

Threads merged.

Happy for you add additional info into the thread as you go, but we don't need two threads.

traded my much loved 1995 80 series with 380,000Kms on the clock, a new engine and a turbo upgrade for a 2011 Dual Cab SR D4D Bought 3/4 months ago at 34,000kms up to 42,000kms now

mainly changed car to accommodate the missus so she could get into the car without the aid of a milk crate, was not an issue for me as I am 6'4"

2010 SR5 V6, has run on LPG since new, few km's of petrol here and there, I've just clicked over 210,000 km's.

Spoken to previous owner, has full service history.
Nothing major (touch wood) just regular services, I've just done 30,000km in the last 12 months, brilliant.
Rear brakes are the usual crap after a wet or sandy trip, best vehicle we have ever brought.
