Have you checked any of the yank sites for feedback? I would be looking there as they would have sold more there than here. While they may be expensive if the quality is there then why not if you can afford it.

they say they are a bilsten strut i think they could be a made up coilover, ie toytech weld that thread to a bilstin strut. but i maybe wrong. still good value as you get the spings as well it would cost over that in aus dollars for a bilstien king spring lift

You can get a custom made coil over set up for a lot cheaper in Australia. Both Ultimate and Bilsteins do the same type of set up to convert armour plated 200 series landruisers to a coil over rear suspenison to imporve the stability and handling with the 3 tonnes of extra weight. If you deal with a suspension manufacturer and not just a reseller it's quite easy to get a hold of products like this locally. Bilstein coil overs are mainly custom built in Germany where as Ultimate manufactures their own in sydeny.

Yes we can custom build them for the hilux. You are probably looking at $600 a pair.

Sorry brendan, just to confirm, you guys make a coil over rear conversion for the hilux for 600 bux a pair?

You remove the rear leaves, put the trailing arms in and coil overs?

If so, thats not too bad! Got pics?

Hi mmaaxx,

The coil overs do not replace the leaf springs. They are used along side the leaf spring to enhance the vehicles stability allowing fitment of raised height confort leaf springs. If you wish to replace the leaf springs for a full coil over conversion, this is an expensive excercise which has to be engineered.
