Thoughts on tub liners?

Postby DrewXT on Mon, 22 Jan 2007 9:20 +0000

Hi Folks,

Nearly ready to order my new Lux, and trying to decide on which kind of tub liner to get - Hard, or Rhino Liner...

Seems to me, that the Rhino Liner is a better option than a hard liner, namely I can still access the tub mounting bolts to secure a drawer system, don't have the same issues with scratching and stuff slipping on a hard liner...

Anyone got a Rhino Liner, and able to comment on it?

Currently thinking of having a Carryboy or ARB canopy above it, with both side lift-up windows...

Cheers,

Andrew

the rhino liner was a great item.you dont loose any space in the tub and you dont get dust and sand rubbing away where you cant see it and then you dont get condensation build up between so no rust which is a big problem with the drop in liners
the rhino costs more and i had to get mine redone as the flim they used seemed to soft. they had no problem redoing it for me so i was happy.
i have a arb canopy with the side lift up windows and i love it . never had one on any other ute so it has made a big differance
as to the problem of stuff slipping on the liner i dont know as i put some marine carpet down to protect it more(overkill i know)
but hey i love my lux
If it moves shoot it , if it dosn't, give it a push

That's not bad! Bluey's want $405 plus fitting (no option not to in a lease) for an AERO liner, but I reckon the Rhino is the way to go...

Thanks guys!

All I need to do now is work out ARB or Carryboy canopy... :-)
