As much as winching off a stopped vehicle will protect the clutch in the stopped vehicle, snatching should not hurt the clutch in the pulling vehicle if you do it right. Don't ride the clutch and don't give it everything, just go easy, don't try to pull the front end out of his truck and it "SHOULD" be fine.

i remember why we snatch it takes ole mate forever to put the winch cable away, we dont go 4 wheeling as such the muddy spot is a short cut when he dont get stuck weather he selects 4wd before it stops in said hole is the question

we pretend to maintain the pumps and fences the short cut is sneaking out the back gate so we dont have to help unload because the main gate is blocked . I regularly shovel mud out of the cabin. Weather or not I used make myself trouble washing grease out with the pressure washer all the time when i used to clean it weekly is another question.Rob Ole mate is one of those lets sink it in the mud then select 4wd his son drove poohey thru said hole today and ratted out ole mate for the other 2 times.
