rusty coolant

hi im just in the process of changing my coolant and it looks rusty. is this a sign of anything bad? should i flush it with water before putting the new coolant in? cheers.

Rust in the coolant usually indicates not enough glyphosate. Flush it out can't be a bad thing. When refilling, use a quality brand coolant, NZ I'd go something anti-freeze with good anti-corrosion included. Keep an eye on it for at least a few months. If you need to top it up, use the same coolant and not just water.
