Draws with sliding deck ?

Postby ng_newbie on Sun, 22 Oct 2023 9:56 +0000

G'Day

I have been watching these sliding deck setups for a while and hoping some1 has installed one and can give some feedback.

The reason I haven't bought any is due to this 1st pic. as I don't have a canopy and would need to make them waterproof somehow !!!

This seems to show the draws and sliding deck hanging off the tub ?
In the market for

- Lokkas & someone to help me install it :)
- 24v Rattle gun - https://dewalt.com.au/products/dcf899hn ... -bare-unit

"Hanging off the tub" ... Yeah, when it's slid out. It's certainly an intriguing unit. Having the coin, I'd certainly be interested in one.
When slid back in I'd almost bet the tailgate and canopy would close up OK.
Weatherproofing would certainly be required if you don't have a canopy. Maybe a phonecall to the supplier would answer your questions?

To carpet and ply would not be easy to dry out when wet real hard to seal

Agreed, that's why if the lotto lady ever paid me a visit, I'd be looking to see if it'd fit into a Prado or a 200.
