Seats

I have a 2014 double cab. I would like to upgrade seats to leather.

Looking at parts from crashed cars,
Next gen hilux, does it fit?
Rav4 front seats, fits?

I wish I knew, I wanted to do something similar a while back with my 2004 model. When I was asking the question here I sorta recall someone pointing out that different seats and mounts, even from different year models of Hiluxs would likely require engineering certification ... at least in our jurisdiction ... Maybe it's different in Sweden, but it won't hurt to just check before spending any money.

G'Day RW

+1 from me :)

[ ludviga ] What about the "air bags" in the seats ?

Trace the wiring from the seats & I think u will find a circuit that "monitors" the seats.

You might be giving up safety for comfort !!!
In the market for

Recovered by an upholsterer or leather seat covers, both ways will work, just depends on your budget and how detailed you want the finish to be.

Just keep in mind that compliance issues might arise if you're getting stuff from vehicles of a different model. This will depend on the rules in your home jurisdiction.

I canĀ“t see how thats going to be a problem at all, its from a toyota hilux.
I think no one will ever notice, and my answer will be "i have no idea, are there seats from another hilux in MY car how is that possible..."
