Tub Canopy

Anyone tried one of these? Any good?

https://www.bosscoauto.com.au/bcx-black ... a-hilux-20

This is just one seller, but the same thing's all over the place on ebay etc. Obviously pure Chinesium, but so's ARB it seems, and I've decided to take their rubbish canopy off and throw the thing away. It's got cracks all through it and the glass is not tempered so shatters if you look at it. I can honestly say I've hated the canopy from day one.

If anyone has got one, did they go with steel or ally? Steels cheaper it seems.

I've got to start carting an expensive piece of equipment, so I've got to take out my drawers and fridge slide to make room and I want something that locks up better.

Appreciate any advice based on real experience with this canopy. Thank you

Glad you have found out that ARB are suspect, I wanted to look under the tub liner before they 'locked' in place an they said no go, buy from someone else because I was wasting their time, while I was in the waiting room.

Like any canopy they have a few issues

- Cant access the tubs on the bottom until you remove the top ones
- Never as secure as you think
- Not waterproof
- Not able to stop the dust
- Cannot load up the roof
- On really bad logging tracks they shear off

Having said that, this looks like a good 1, Alum. is always better from a number of points.
