1997, Toyoya 2.8 Double cab 4x4

Looking for help. I just started refurbishing my late fathers 1997 2.8 Hilux LDV. I am trying to keep it as original as possible. Not been a mechanic by nature but do have some knowledge I learnt from my father over the years. I today went to Toyota here in my home town to try and establish to specification of the vehicle or if I could get a photo or brochure or something to give me an direction to go into. The information they supplied me with indicates that it is 1997, 2800 Double Cab Diesel 4 X 4 raider, limited addition. What I am trying to find out is what made it a limited addition to the normal raider. They could also not explain the model number which is on the plate: LN67R-MDPNS. I can understand the LN67R, its the MDPNS that catching me.
Any assistance would be highly appreciated.
