If your TRC light is flashing look for a sensor wire off one of the wheels. Have you been 4x4 lately? Maybe snagged a sensor wire sometime?
Why not buy yourself a Bluetooth elm 327 obd scanner, around $10 on eBay. You can check and clear codes and heaps more for much less than a dealer will charge just to look at it.
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.

All wires are on have had scan done and code cleared but keeps coming back on.Code is steering angle so it looks like Toyota dearler will have to re set when I can get it booked in.

I recall reading a thread recently about clock springs? Maybe one of the Mod's or more "regular" members can recall the thread better than me. Gipsy, hiluxxury or martynvella might have better recall than I do.

There was a recall for them some time ago. ITs probably finished so you may have to shop around for the part... try partsouq etc

They are simple to change out - just remember to disconnect the battery and hold down the brake pedal for 5 or more seconds to prevent the airbag from going off.

There are probably a couple of thread here - the search will show them up.
I might be wrong.

Id be checking it first. I thought the airbag or horn was usually the first to let go.
Also, I might be wrong but be suprised if the steering angle sensor is in the steering wheel.

Steering angle sensor? Maybe try a tyre joint, tell them what's going on ask them if they think doing a wheel alignment might show up what's going on?
