Water dripping from Tub

Postby NATJEV on Fri, 12 Mar 2021 4:48 +0000

Hi all

I have a problem with water dripping from what looks like is the tub. Hilux Sr5 2014 model.

When i get up and have a look between the cab and the tub, i can see there are like two holes in the front of the tub with some sort of rubber tubing. I am not sure what they are for, possibly to drain water or do the electrics go through there?

I have a liner in the tub and also a Mountain Top roller so i cant really get in and see too much inside the tub.
I have parked on a slope to see if the water will come out but nothing?

There is this constant drip of water even though it really hasn't rally rained much. Just wondering if i should be concerned at this stage?

thanks heaps

Nat

Condensation under the liner or drain for the roll top? Can you get inside the tub to see where the rubber tubes come from?
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.

Roller tops have drainage pipes because the box they roll up into can fill with water. If you have dirt and stuff in there it might slow down the drainage to a constant drip.
