I have owned my 2009 Hilux since 2011, it came up from Central America as a grey market truck I bought on Ebay. When I bought it there was about 22 Km on the clock, now it's at 160 Km. I have had very little problems with the pickup and I source most of my maintenance parts out of Ireland. No support at all from Toyota because it is not an NA vehicle. Would I do it again, it would be an astounding yes. I get offers to buy it from Latino people almost every month. I have hauled 2200 lbs of landscape blocks in the bed, and moved a 9000 lb mobile home short distances. It has never let me down so far. We have lots of Tacoma's here, but my Burrito (it came from Central America) has much more class.
