PSICO air box and snorkel on V6

Is anyone running one of the PSICO air boxes and 4" snorkels on a 4.0L V6?
I am looking to fit a snorkel to my 2015 V6 for safer river crossings, but don't want to hinder performance or economy. How does the PSICO perform?

I think it's only the guys with Raptor Superchargers, I haven't seen one fitted on a standard engine. Could be wrong though.

However, the fact that Raptor use them, should tell you plenty about their performance.

Another air filter upgrade is to fit a diesel cylindrical filter to the 4.0 1Gr Hilux. I found it a fairly cheap and easy mod to do. Just a matter of moving (bending) the air con tube slightly and bending the dip stick tube slightly. I also replaced the dip stick for a flexible Patrol 3.0 diesel unit to make it easier to extract.

I bought a TRD Tacoma intake, but yet to fit it. I won’t be fitting a snorkel though as it serves no purpose for me and would only reduce air flow. I did look at trying to just use the PSICO box though but bought the TRD one.

I have fitted a snorkel on 2012V6 , I have noticed around town , a little less throttle response but on the hiway iWorks fine , same for as well river crossings , no problem with the V6
