Thanks DB, cool head here but I was just making the observation that there are people who come here seeking advice and then insult those who give it. I get the message :)
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.

No worries Gipsy. That is a most reasonable observation.

Other then those who have signed up in the past 5 days managing to infer an unapologetic insult in the their 3rd post and demonstrating lack of any courtesy to thank those that provided help to their first post in another thread; members who have contributed on this thread have a collective of over 40 years membership and have contributed over 5000 posts on this forum. They have also shown courtesy to follow forum guidelines and shared very useful information. Well done gents

Personally for me if I wanted 4” of lift.
I would do a 2+2 set up.
2” suspension of your choice.
Personally my products of choice are OME, Ultimate and Bilstein for suspension. Reputable brands and always willing to help (if you find a good dealer)
And then 2” body lift like those by VMN.
This still requires a engineering cert (at least in NSW) but mechanically this is a simpler set up and far less prone to problems down the track.

The one thing you always gotta remember is we are talking about a IFS vehicle.
Unless you mess up the front cv angles so badly that they chop out prematurely your never going to get significant ground clearance on the front axle without serious modifications costing huge amounts of money. You simply need to cost up the mods required per inch done right.
For me it was just too steep so I did the 75mm. 2” suspension and 1” wheel.
It’s legal here and cost effective.

Hope your finding the answers you need mate.
