anyone ever had issues with ARB's colour coding?

I recently picked up a new bar from ARB, this new one I decided to go with colour coding, now with my year hilux there is apparently 2 greys, on my order docket it matches with my paint code, but getting it in the sun today the colour doesn't look the same, what should I do, is it my eyes?, or is this possibly something ARB could have messed up and I do have the wrong colour bar?

Not an expert, but it could be a simple mistake where they've [ARB] have put the wrong bar on the wrong Hilux (assuming they had two in for colour coded bars).
My advice would be to see if your mates see different colours and if it is different, contact ARB and discuss it with them.

Another question.
How old is your ute?
Remember that it is a colour code not a colour match. If your vehicle is a earlier 5-15 lux and spent most of its life outside chances are the ute paint has faded slightly.
Talk to whatever store you bought it from if your not happy though some stores paint in house so it is possible that they messed it up
Even panel beaters get it wrong from time to time

I'll grab a pic when when I get the time today, its a 2012 so I wouldn't have thought that the paint would've faded much, I'll give em a call later today.

Another question, was the bar ordered from arb or painted in house, cos we colour match ours in house. If it's from arb then it's nearly impossible to get it exactly the same. Metallic colours make it even harder.
