Genuine Toyota alloy trays, is the headboard a bolt on part?

Hi guys, does anyone know if the headboard on genuine toyota aluminium trays just bolts on and off?

I might be getting one but it has the smaller angle bar flimsy looking bar over the headboard and I wanted to change it to the thicker heavy duty one but I've never really seen one up close.

Genuine trays are a triple M tray and they come in a flat pack. So yes you can remove them. Check with Triple M as to the changing of headboards but I thing you should be ok.

Thanks, yeah I did ring them and they confirmed you can just swap the headboard out. But turns out the tray I went to look at was a dodgy chopped single cab tray so I passed on it.
