Use some ratchet straps up to the garage roof to take the weight of the bar as you take it off

I fitted my carbon winch just by removing the gill and fitting from the top

yep I did too, Found that out the long way.
I had loosened off all the bolts for the bullbar and then thought 'why don't i remove the grill' (facepalm)
Anyway, it's in now. lol
