2006 Euro 3 dual cab 4wd. Done about 55,000kms over the last 4 years. 32" MT tires, 2 inch lift, winch, steel bar, loaded pretty much to GVM all the time. Also has 3" exhaust and a Steinbauer chip.

This ranges from local runs to a small amount of towing a hard floor rear fold camper plus a few trips like the Simpson desert, Cape York and a few other similar trips.

Average of 13.73l/100km. Best 10.46, worst 18.52 (Towing on the Stuart Hwy NT) These figures do not take into account the tyre size difference.

2010 dualcab sr5 stock motor n 4 speed auto std height but a/t tyres Tub with canopy.
Average 9.3 to 10.1 real figures.
I'm never in a rush driving round town or road trips don't even think I've had the pedal flat to the floor on road ever. Driving style helps with economy.
Roof top tent on top and loaded for 14 day camp trips it will see the 13.5s

I have a Petrol/LPG 2008 V6 Auto. Only just got it so no real world economy figures yet but the trip computer says 7.9klm/Litre, I don't think it knows about the LPG

Based on my maths and current LPG / 95 fuel prices of $1 & $1.90 and LPG inefficiency of 25% I think I am achieving Diesel economy and loving Petrol V6 life.

True mate, best of both worlds but I'm not sure about whether you would be advised to add some upper cylinder lubricant to keep the cams and valves going ok on petrol. LPG is sometimes hard on the top end because it doesn't contain UCL. Good suggestion to use petrol occasionally to keep it all in good shape.

I have now covered 500klm with LPG and have found 15L / 100 klm on mainly freeway with 40psi in the tyres. 100 klm with a 200kg motorbike on an MX carrier and 400 klm empty. I dropped the tyres to 34 psi with 50% freeway and achieved 20L / 100 klm with no load.

I have now covered 200 klm with 95 petrol and just going off the cars trip computer of 7.3 klm / litre it looks like a average of 13.7L / 100 klm. This was 30% freeway, 70% city, no load and 34 psi.

Driving style is conservative.

So, my early conclusion is:
LPG (99c per L, 34 psi, none or small load, 50 City /50 Freeway) Cost per 100 klm $19
Petrol ($2.10 per L, 34 psi, none or small load,70 City / 30 Freeway ) Cost per 100 klm $29

These are my preliminary figures, there may be errors in my calcs, I will keep logging and see how it goes. The psi in the tyres seems to be a big factor as well as the Freeway % of course.

I have read the various atricles about additional lube systems for LPG motors and am not sure if one was fitted to mine, I will investigate and fit if required although my klm PA is likely to be under 10,000 so maybe not required?

My latest petrol economy figures on my unladen V6 DC Auto are terrible.

Dropped the 18" Wheels/Tyres to 31 psi for comfort and pretty much only inner city driving with a small amount of freeway (est 25%). 19.7L /100 klm. Uuggghhh. Did 300 klm on 95 and filled it with 59 L of 96, was prev filled up to the brim. Meanwhile, the fuel computer was indicating AVG 6.8 klm /L so I was expecting a fuel economy of 14.7 L / 100 klm. That Toyota fuel computer is very inaccurate.

Ok, that's enough petrol usage, this is my first tank of petrol since I recently purchased this 08. Pushed the LPG button again and it is staying on permanently now that I understand my petrol usage figures. Based on the petrol consumption I am expecting to use 25 L /100 of LPG I guess?

Fortunately I only do 600-1000 klm per month so it won't kill me financially and the cost per 100 klm for LPG will be similar to the cost per 100 Klm for diesel I suspect for the same use case.

May 2022 build, Hiride 2WD dualcab, Cab Chassis, GUN135R (2.4 ~ 2GD) 4000 ks on the clock this last tank, filled up today, 60 litres.
Mostly home to work, around town, 1 "country" drive Whiteman to Sth Yunderup to Pinjarra and back, via Armadale, about 250kms.
Km's for this tank: 675.

Car has a tracker, so driven, but not driven hard/thrashed.
(last vehicle was a Colorado dual cab 2WD, never worse that 900k's to a tank)
