I just did the rear load/brake proportioning valve. It cost nothing took 5 mins and it has made a very big difference to the feel of the brakes. No lift standard ride height, but I adjusted the rod length with the adjusting nuts right to the top. I thought that the rears would probably lock up easily like that and I would then adjust them back as necessary, but no they don't, the car just stops quicker with less peddle pressure and less dive. I did a manual rear brake adjust about 6 months ago and that made a big improvement too. So no one complain about the brakes until you have done both the easy rear brake adjust and the easy proportioning valve, then if you still need better brakes apparently you need to upgrade the booster for best bang for buck.

so just a bit more than $50 but there are cheaper ones on ebay
great addition, a little grandpa spec but they make the car noticably cooler inside and not having rain poor down inside your door is a big plus

Mounted mine in the rear of the centre console. Took a bit of work to remove the console, but worth the effort.

I will dig out a photo if you want.

I did this which I think works well.

Even made sure to use a connector plug so I can remove the panel easily.

Constant power to the aux battery. It's mainly for powering my cfx-40 when I have it in the back seat.

Low range 2wd switch $26
Changeover relay $10
1M 3mm twin wire
[imgImage][/img]
(I haven't got around to doing it yet, just put the switch there to look cool)

Also wired my reverse lights to a switch so I can turn them on whenever with or with out ignition, this also brings on my camera so I can see what my trailer is doing behind me.
Another thing it does is if the key is off or not in the ignition and I put it in reverse with this switch on I can use the power windows, I didn't mean that to happen but its pretty cool.

there you go mate, its tight getting them next to each other you'd probably be better off mounting the switch somewhere else

For those of you with a tub crush some pipe at the ends and weld it on in between those useless tie points that Toyota give us so that you can tie things in like a normal person not all diagonal.

Couldn't see stereo during the day. So made this out of cardboard and tape. Will make it out of plastic later.

Replaced bolts that hold canopy on with stainless steel eye bolts. Easy to attach bungy cords to stop things moving around. Also cut a sunshade to size to keep sun of the esky.
