Stevenm,

How does that seal attach to the body ? - do you need to drill holes or is it peel and stick ?

Also if you can, could we see the profile of the seal you used.

Thanks JON

The listing for Sus Tec says 2005 - 2012 - I asked if they would fit my 2014 and they said no but I cant really see why there would be any difference - can anyone tell me for sure ?

Thanks JON

I think this is done by looking directly into the light and counting how long before the spots in the middle of your eyes disappear. ;)

Use an old sponge and cut up to fit around the bonnet hinge to stop the leaves filling up the bottom of front guard stopping rust.
Secondly every 6 months remove front mud flaps, undo bottom guard bolts and flush out all the crap with hose or sometimes a vacuum will do. Again to stop rust.if you have never done this, try it and you will see what I mean

Cost probably 3 beers

Sounds a little like swapping one evil for another. Sponges hold water, water held against metal = rust?
Perhaps some plastic mesh, such as gutter guard type stuff, instead?

Just posted this in my build but thought it would go good in here the amount of times I've had to get something out of the glove box at night and had to use a torch was irritating me so here's my solution.
It was all stuff I had left over from other projects so for me it was nothing.

Here's my glove box light, might be a little over the top ;)
Don't mind the mess

And the door switch had some left over from doing the under bonnet lights.
