Interesting read, I've been looking at covers recently. I find it hard buy something like covers online, would prefer to see them in the flesh although it's great seeing others photos.

Anyone know if you can get just a neoprene cover for the console?

I will say supafit went out of their way to entertain a million of my questions and were forthcoming wiht information.

They also assured me 100% refund if i wasn't happy at the end of day.

Aussie owned and run ...

Just made the purchase on some black supafit canvas seat covers with the centre console lid, bit over 10% off for being a newhilux.net forum member :D

I have the toyota genuine wet suit vest type, can't really recommend them for longevity. Stitching has already started to come apart on drivers side from my backside rubbing the edge of the seat when I get out of the ute. But they are very comfortable and are honestly a perfect fit.

Don't get me started on toyota genuine floor mats! My right heel has almost worn a hole straight through. Not very impressed. Although, once again, they are a perfect fit, and the lock tabs keep it in place all the time.

Going to toyota tomorrow to see if I can get both replaced under warranty. Toyota tell me that there is a 3 year warranty on mats and covers if they were installed by toyota, pre delivery.

I'll keep you all posted.

Has anyone tried the neoprene seat covers? I live around the corner from http://www.supertrim.com.au/ and I took a look at their covers they look like they fit really well.

Another vote from me for Black Duck. Had them fitted to my '13 SR Dual cab and I'm very happy with them so far. I have been told that they are hard to fit properly but had mine done by the dealer before I collected the car. A colleague has seat covers from Toyota and he hates them and the fit is terrible, perhaps his aren't fitted correctly.

Warranty claim denied
Don't buy toyota genuine neoprene seat covers or floor mats if you have longevity in mind.

Doubt they will be covered.... Since they are a consumable product like oil filters and brake pads.

Then why would they offer a warranty? Wear and tear is different to a manufacturing defect. Seat covers are 6 months old.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but can't find anyone that has the genuine Toyota canvas seat covers in their lux,

Anyone out there with opinions on these? they have been offered to me in a quote buying a new Hilux,,

My thinkings is they are initially going to take a bit to "wear" in, depending on what will be in the tub, dogs might travel in the rear seats, filthy buggers :) , the canvas should just wipe clean i assume?

Super Cheap $ 110.00 Front and rear on special at the moment - Fitted mine last weekend

Not sure I like them Canvas is really cold in the mornings, may need to mod some seat warmers in. :D

I'd almost been sold on the canvas, but this is huge for me.. nothing i hate more than being cold at 5am for a big drive first thing! like all good heaters i'm sure it'll be sorted in 5 but it makes getting to work first thing that little bit harder… any one gone from denim to canvas or vice versa and got any words to input? i'm leaning heavily towards supafit, aussie made and owned + a little guy..

cmon now boys our hips aren't widening! :D

never noticed cold , though cold for me is 0c to 3c, not sure if you boys are in snow country.

I'd say canvass is colder simply because its a tighter surface, but can't say its ever entered my mind.

I almost always warm my engine up a few minutes before departing in the morning anyway by which time its roasting inside.

I've used canvas Black Ducks in four 4wds for over at least 15 years. I am not "well covered" and most of my use is in the Vic high country in winter. They are not cold, although they do not feel as immediately cosy as a good cloth seat.

I have noticed with an old 40 series with soggy seats that the covers seemed to firm up the factory seats and make them a little more supportive.

Agree Qwerty. Maybe they're more sensitive when it's "that time!"
