DO IT :)

Hi Steven, has this gotten rid of the P2008 error's?

Haven't had any error codes with the HKS yet

So just got this today

Image

That's from running a Stage 2 Grunter Extreme from Gturbos, 25% higher flow injectors from Baileys Diesel, a front mount intercooler and a ton of tuning by Matt from Just Autos
He spent ages on it to get this figure, and it shows by how well it drives :D

Bloody wet weather though, it's just wheel spin city at the moment

What seems to be the average power out of hilux with manual transmission and just the hks fcon I'd unit. I'm hopefully getting an 2011 manual hilux next week and although I wouldn't buy anything else the hilux in stock form is fairly slow. So just want to know what power people make with just the unit and a good tune.

I later clarified with Baileys that the injectors are roughly around 20% bigger than stock.

With the same mods except with larger 30% injectors another Hilux achieved about 230rwhp, so considering my slipping clutch, slightly smaller injectors and intake restriction (snorkel was causing dramas) I'd say 212rwhp is near bangon the money.

In fact Matt (the tuner) said that when he popped the airbox he got another 10hp almost instantly

Boost is set at about 30psi - it could possibly be a bit more but that's as high as my boost gauge reads

$427 seems too cheap
obviously its only a piggy back unit but its still half the price of other chips?

cheers

This is the little brother f con I have the ecu f con id

How much for an f-con ID chip matt on a 12 hilux, and would you need to upgrade anything to go with it. I don't plan on upgrading turbos or injectors or anything like that. Or am I better off getting a ecu remap? What's the safer option?
