Many members are using the Scangauge on their Prados.

after reading through prado point it sounds very handy.
Would really love to see the fuel consumption in realtime to find sweet spots, aswell as temps etc.
will dwell on this till next week =] might get one.

It has a extensive trip computer, voltmeter, tachometer, speedometer, coolant temperature, air intake temperature etc.

spyroeast is getting one. He's my guinea pig and if it works well, I might be interested in it.

Does any one know if a Pyrometer can be hooked up to this thing??? I have a thermo coupling... just need to know if that can be read on the scan tool... Cheers TOMUCH

I don't think you can connect the pyrometer thermo coupling or probe to it. It actually connects to the OBD-II connector under the steering.

I believe Toyota uses their diagnostic tool to connect to this OBD-II.

if u wre to use the live fuel readouts to maximize economy it would pay for itself over less then a year.

Yeah thats true. It would be good to have those gauges to monitor our fuel consumption and it actually reminds us to lighten our foot on the pedal !!!8-) 8-) 8-)
