I used Charlestown Toyota because I live nearby but..... when I went in there they were completley mystified about what I wanted them to do. It took a lot of "explaining" on my part and eventually (believe it or not) a phone call to a Denso agent in Sydney. After that a considerable amount of time spent on their computer looking up god knows what and eventually my injectors were coded to the car. They must also program in a "reflash" at the same time if your new injectors are the latest DLC type. At the price you have been quoted they may not be...I would be double checking on that, no point putting the original type injectors back in and end up in the same boat in 12 months time. There is a Toyota dealer in Cessnock, give him a call and discuss it with him.
You'll be right on the install, just be VERY mindful of cleanliness while the injector pipes are open, record the numbers on the electrical connector on each new injector exactly as they are written, and record which cylinder each injector was fitted to as the numbers are different on each injector.
Also make sure you have not done the "key-in-ignition" mod to your Lux, otherwise the Toyota dealer will not be able to access the system.
PS.. make sure you wind the engine over by hand at least 2 turns before you start up after the install, as engine oil can leak down into the cylinders while the injectors are out causing a hydraulic lock...it happened on mine. There is a large hex in the centre of the crankshaft pulley you can use a socket on it.
PPS....it's perfectly O.K. to do the work at home then drive the vehicle to wherever you're getting the injectors coded, at worst it may idle rough.
Regards Chris.
