My 07 kun26r has nearly 200000, my old vzn167r had nearly 350000.

Both of them are still running amazingly.

41,500, 11/14 SR5 manual.... currently on my 5th diff oil fill  (original, replaced with rear locker, then again after 1000km on rear locker, then when ARB replaced all the diff seals for what turned out to be no reason and then again for the 40,000 service).

2006 Hilux DC 4L V6 just clocked 300,000km. Serviced every 10,000km from new.
Nothing major apart from routine maintenance and OME suspension (OME has lasted from new).
Just completed: Replacment suspension bushes, fan belt, crank oil seal.
The 1gr-fe is a great motor!

My old man has a '91 diesel. Bought in 2000, not sure what was on the clock then. Rebuilt the engine 2 years ago after he had racked up about 2.5million km. Never done any modifications to the engine or driveline or suspension. Replaced the fuel injector about 2005ish.

Always kept the services up and fresh fluids. Used mainly to get to and from work and as the family bus when we travelled, which was 2-3 times a year for around 5000km return trip each time.

Edit: In response to my dads truck, i bought my 99 diesel with 329,000km on the clock (the speedo was snapped, so who knows what the real kms were) and I've already spent around 12k just on repairing the engine.

If you look after them, diesels will last you a lifetime.
