mine is a 2012 with 60322km, and we have an 05/06 first of the kun's and it has 270,000km on the original engine, as a farm ute, done a good job.

one set of injectors done free out of warranty time
two sets or rear wheel bearings one set done out of warranty but free
one rear drive shaft at time of second set of wheel bearings
one front wheel bearing
all under warranty
one auto trans at 115000
one auto at 220000 yes i do run a trans cooler now two!
one melted piston NO.3 at 113000 just after new injectors installed toyota wouldnt have a bar of it
all other pistons fine and injectors tested and all came back fine
What the F##K happend then??????????
complete rebuild new diesel pump and $11000k later

geeeezzzz you had a bad run..... mine has 293ks odd ....Mechanicals is as per it left the factory except for injectors....and brake pads(plus a big list of mods) serviced every 5000ks .... I kid you not... will have to do the timming belt soon..
