Dec06 sr5. 165000kms. Read a lot about injector issues. Wonder whether it's time to quit it before it happens. Have not had an issue yet with it and there is no noise what's the average injector lifespan or is it how long is a piece of string

Mines (08 dual cab d4d) currently at 246,000ks still running beautifully.
I change the oil/filter every 5000ks,and service as required.

Had a 2010 D4D dual cab, got it at 50000k ,when I left (Oct) was on 170,000k. Probably 120000k on BHPBIO access rd .(dirt)in the Pilbara,
was still going strong.

Trailor plug damaged by rocks..brought up some weird alarms only when put in reverse,blew a fuse that took out air conditioner .electric windows..brought up ABS alarm .. fuel filter light came on hard once ,checked no water in the fuel filter drove it for another 5k , Came back from a service all good.
I like the old model better tho , I can,t believe how much plastic is on the new one

Not really
A couple of wheel bearings in the last 12 months
Had Baileys injectors done at about 315xxx
Still averages around 10L per 100

2007 SR turbo diesel, 147,000km.
About 2000k's ago replaced all the injector seals as 2 where stuffed, and was blowing a lot and I mean a lot of smoke on start up. All seems good now though, got lucky I think, not having to replace the injectors.
