United fuel will tune it Swinny, once my 35's get at the beginning of October maybe we can take both our trucks there?

If you were to purchase a HKS, is it a *must* getting it tuned? I know it wont completely right, and gains wont be perfect. But getting a dyno here (Mildura, VIC) is pretty hard.

Melbourne or Adelaide tuners?

It needs to go on a dyno to set the air fuel ratio. JPC in Thomastown, Melbourne done mine.

I agree.. i've been taking it easy so my clutch doesn't give way till I get some extra casholas coming in for a new clutch now.
It would have been about $2,000 - $2,200 all up ($1,200 for the unit alone), but I got whacked with an extra few hundred added to the quote for problem solving since they had never experience the HKS, and had to get a bit of help from JustAutos to connect it.. which now they know what they're doing I assume would be avoided. But still worth it every cent in my opinion
Cheers,
Jay

I know it's a pain guys that u have to get them dyno tuned but realy all chip should be checked as well, for the extra money well worth it in my books.

Think BIGFOOTJR had somewhere sussed out, but found somewhere to do the Uni-chip (similar unit to the HKS) cheaper. Give him a shout he'll be able to give you some more info.

On another note, finally got my clutch upgraded. Got a 4terrain h/d put in, and man, what a difference it makes when you have a clutch that can handle the power. It's a little wet, but talk about tail-happy!

Jay

You'll need to get a boost gauge, EGT gauge and clutch as a minimum. Don't need an exhaust, but the exhaust will help with your EGT's. The standard clutch will most likely slip from 2nd through to 5th with one of these units.

i'll post pictures up of the gauges I have, can pm you where to get 'em, and the probe / map sensors to go with them.
Cheers,
Jay

Have a look at 4terrain, I have that and love it. Feels more responsive.
Others on here prefer NPC. Happy hunting! ;)

I hear all you guys talking about needing to upgrade your clutch with the HKS. Can you run this with an auto transmission? Any problems?
