Yeah, I had the same issue ... trying to find something suitable that looked good too. Finally stumbled on these ones. The one I purchased works a treat.

Yeah, for the price, you really cant go wrong. Looks just like an OEM when installed ... nice and neat. Works really well with Canberra's cold mornings too!

Combine it wih a rear wiper and I have very few issues seeing out the back even on frosty mornings.

Awesome!
Is it possible to piggyback the wiring off the rear cabin demister?

How did you wire this up? I want to do this one :-)

Wire off the battery, to an aftermarket fuse holder, through the firewall, to the switch, to the lighter socket. Simple.

There is a large constant power wire going to the fuse bux near the drivers left knee, I just soldered a fuse holder to this and that way you don't need to go through fire wall and ya only need 2ft of 3mm twin.

I thought about doing that myself originally and cant see why it cant be done, however as this one comes with its own controller, switch, etc, I just figured I'd leave the two mutually exclusive. This way, as the canopy window would need the demister more than the "covered" rear cab window, I only need to turn whichever one on I need at the time so I'm not wearing one out unnecessarily and also not putting additional load on a circuit not designed for it.

$8 Dot it light from Bunnings. Bright as no need to run any wires, push operation and you can remove it from the backing piece to use as a light.
