2010 Hilux SR5 Stereo

Hi all,

I'm about to purchase my first ever Hilux (2010 SR5) and have a few queries about the factory stereo that is currently in it.

1. What sizes are the speakers in the front and rear? I believe the fronts are 6" but have seen people claim they have fit 6.5" in there. What about the rears?

2. Are there tweeters in the dash by default?

3. Will a compact "under seat" sub fit under the seat? I'm pulling an existing one out of my current Falcon ute and was hoping to plug straight into the Toyota. It's a Focal SUB25 compact. https://focalaustralia.com.au/product/b ... t-sub-599/

4. Does it have a reversing camera by default? I'm planning on replacing the factory head unit with a Kenwood DDX2019DABS unit and am wondering if I need to also buy a camera as well.

Front and rear are both 6", 6.5" does fit if they have the elongated screw holes, there's a lot of shops that sell complete upgrade kits which include amps and split fronts with tweeter mounts near the mirror (tweeters are not standard, it's a 4 speaker system)

There is plenty of room under the front seats or behind the rear seat for a slimline sub.

2010 would not have a rear camera, pretty sure they only came in with the 2011 facelift, so you would need to purchase one separately.

Must be the 2012 facelift released late in 2011. My SR5 is mid 2011 and no reverse camera.
