Extra tie down points in DC tub ?

Steve9R,
I put in the ARB tie down system. It runs along the floor, 1200mm long on either side with movable tie points. Bolts in with a big washer under the tray and is good for 750kg each (so they say).

I have a Toyota tray liner and the track sits flush with it, so no intrusion on the floor. Works great. Cost about $100 from memory.

Will try and get a photo if you like.

Regards,

Thanks Stuk for showing me the product.

Extra tie down points in DC tub ?

Pics would be great!
Speaking of the Toyo tub liner, has anybody had any issues with condensation / rust underneath it, or do you think drilling the metal tub underneath the liner would increase rust risk?
I have the liner, and just don't know how well it is drained, or if this is even an issue worth worrying about, I haven't taken it off to have a look under as yet... Anyone got any stories?

My canopy sits on the tub liner so I dont think I can get it out with out a lot of work. I had thought of trying to spray a rust preventative up there but really have no idea if I can do anything.

You will not regret that purchase. What i did is rust proofed the holes (Shell Ensis fluid wax) that I drilled and then sealed them with Sika so rust and dust did not become an issue.
There is only enough bolts for every second hole so I put a Series 500 screw in the other one's to locate it while I did the bolt holes.

Make sure you get any swarf out from under the liner after you drill the holes.
