Been building this lockable cage over the last couple of months. Finally got it finished and canvassed last week, already to go camping for the long weekend.
The cage is all bolted together and the entire thing can be pulled apart into panels and stacked against the garage wall, taking up very little room.

What sort of money are you looking at for the lockable canvas canopy?

I built the cage myself, so it only cost me for materials. For steel, locks, gas struts and paint, it was about $700. It took me about 4 Sundays to build.
The canvas was done by a local guy (total trimming, lismore). $1100, which I thought was very reasonable. Made from marine canvas, which doesn't rot, fade or go mouldy like traditional cotton canvas.

Yeah I like that. Could be built in sections to still make it all removable pretty easy. Could still then have full length sides or a jack of canopy (GCCW) ... Fuel/water in the headboard looks pretty close to cab though.

I didnt have a real close look....I didnt want some 'roidasaurus charging me for snooping around his wheels. but the tray/canopy was different enough to catch my eye. Wouldnt be cheap either I'd imagine....

It's the different finishes that throw you off. Checkerplate, smooth etc. Just stick with one and be done with it.

This guy came into my work yesterday. He said he wanted to make something different to everyone else and show of his skills as a boiler maker.
He reckons the head board took him 3 days to make. If you have a good look it is 100mm tube on the front with some sheet on the back. It kinda looks like a rain drop. And you can't see in the photos but it also follows the radius of the roof

F#@k me its different! He's definitely got some skills... Put some sign writing on it and would be good advertising for him..

That headboard would be a good air tank for a compressor or keg for Bourbon!
