Dust in headlight

Dust in headlight

Postby Chappy78 on Sat, 27 Sep 2014 5:00 +0000

I have dust inside my 2008 dualcab headlight and the glass is a little dirty inside. How do I clean it out without pulling the glass cover off. I was thinking off hosing it out but it would probably leave water marks inside. Any ideas guys and girls

Compressed air as a starting point.
Failing that, if the dust has mixed with moisture and left a dirty residue you could try CRC contact cleaner - not cheap but awesome residue free cleaner. Great for cleaning just about anything. Safe for most plastics

Edit - Damn that is a big image

It shouldn't....start with compressed air. Use the CRC-CO if you dont want to use water.
You could always use distilled water if you are worried about water stains. Then again if you use tap water and blow out with compressed air you shouldn't be left with any water spots
