Bleeding fuel lines after draining fuel tank ??

Postby taylor997 on Sun, 01 Nov 2015 2:39 +0000

Hi all,

I have a 93 diesel dual cab with a standard 65l fuel tank.

I have just drained and cleaned out my fuel tank. The fuel filter and lines were not touched although a little diesel ran out of the lines when I took the tank off.

My feeling is that I don't need to bleed the lines but just want to check what you all think. The fuel filter will still be primed.

Cheers,
Tom

Just pump the hand primer until it goes firm and you are ready to go
