2" suspension lift kit worth it?

I recently have put in aftermarket dobinson torsion bars and I'm now considering going with a 2" suspension lift on my LN167 hilux. Would I gain much more ground clearance if i was to get the suspension lift?

Measure your height now and compare it to that of a standard vehicle (then add ~40mm) or one with a 2" lift in it and see how they measure up

Do you need more lift? And why/why not

That will tell you if it is worth it or not,

Ground clearance, answer is no 10" lift will still give you the same clearance,
As far as diff clearance,

What size tyres to have now?
Set you ride height and travel to suit your tyres and driving style/Tourane

Myself (ln106) 3" efs lift, 2" extended shackles, 1/2 body lift, with 33" tyres
And I plane on moving front axel fwd and running 34's down the line, when the 33's need replacing

On your car, witch it isn't, set the torsion bars back to stock
1" spacer and 2" lift on front and 3" in rear, and run a nice set of 32.5-33" tyres

And it won't look out if place, + you'll still be under 2.05 without roof lights/rack so underground parking won't be a problem
And next to a cruser, you'll be the same height, so you won't get hassled by the police for too much lift,

If I was to get 33" tyres, I would probably need to go with the 2" suspension lift to fit them and downsize back to 15" rims. Do you reckon it'd just scrub on full lock? I'm running 245/75/16 Cooper STT Maxx tyres at the moment.

I'm also after higher diff clearance, so a bigger tyre size should definitely help.

285/75r16 (32.5") brand dependent will fit with 2" all round,
I have the same tyre and my car had oem 2" when I brought it, with 285/75r16
As a street car, or work car it was fine, even with 800kg in the tray, it didn't scrub
But when 4wding it was a different story,
The back wheels would touch the body (dual cab) and the front would be no different either
It was fine with even load just not flex

If you don't do much hard wheeling fit the 33" if you want that look, if you like to flex it up go the 32"
Or look into a 3"
You could get a 2" all round fit the 33" and if it scrubs either fit a body lift or extended shackles in rear and drop kit in front,
